Analyse d'une piqûre unique se propageant dans un acier inoxydable
Abstract
Le signal électrochimique acquis lors de la corrosion par piqûres d'un acier inoxydable dans un bain contenant des ions Cl- est difficile à interpréter car de multiples piqûres se développent à tout instant sur la surface et se retrouvent donc à différents états d'avancement. Pour contourner ces difficultés, un montage expérimental (Fig. 1gauche) permettant de générer un flux continu et localise d'ions Cl- pour initier une piqûre unique sur un métal a été développe [1].Dans ce travail, on s’intéressera d'abord à caractériser la phase de propagation d'une piqûre unique. Les évolutions de taille (diamètre et profondeur) de la piqûre seront plus particulièrement étudiés et décrits par des lois d’évolution. L'influence de paramètres comme la concentration en ions Cl-, la concentration en anions de l’électrolyte support (SO42-), la température et le potentiel sur la phase de propagation sera également abordée a l'aide de différentes techniques (microscopes optique et a balayage, analyses ICP, de spectroscopie Raman). Enfin en cas de repassivation de la piqûre, les conditions de réamorçage de celle-ci seront déterminées en particulier a partir des cycles de piquration comme ceux présentés sur la Fig. 1 (droite).
