Study of Droplet Behavior in Active Control of Metal Transfer
Abstract
This study reports an investigation in to theoscillation behavior of the droplet in active control of metaltransfer. In this study, dynamic detachment model [1] hasbeen fitted to predict droplet oscillation behavior anddetachment in active control of metal transfer. The resultsfrom model were found to match with experimental resultsobserved in active control method of metal transfer [2]. Thismodel can be used to simulate and understand influence ofwelding parameters on metal transfer in active control ofpulsed gas metal arc welding process
