Etude expérimentale du comportement d'une tôle perforée aléatoirement en NiTi superélastique

Abstract

Cette étude expérimentale présente la réponse complexe observée lors de la traction d’une plaque mince perforée en NiTi superélastique et d’épaisseur 0,1 mm. Les alliages NiTi quasi équiatomiques se déforment via les contraintes induites par la transformation de phase martensitique (A ⇔ M) et montrent un comportement m´ecanique pseudo-´elastique au-del`a d’une contrainte seuil. Lors de l’essai de traction, la présence de trous dans la plaque engendre une inhomogénéité des déformations mais aussi des déplacements hors plans qui s’apparentent à du flambement local. Un dispositif expérimental, constitué de deux pièces massives en verre, est réalisé pour permettre d’éviter ces déplacements hors plans tout en autorisant les mesures de champs optiques.<br/>La présentation du travail aborde les aspects de conception et de validation du dispositif expérimental ainsi qu’un essai de traction d’une plaque trouée en NiTi superélastique avec mesure de champ optique.<br/><br/>Abstract :<br/>This experimental study presents the complex response observed during the tensile test of a holey thin plate of 0.1 mm thickness superelastic NiTi. Near-equiatomic NiTi alloys deform via stress induced A ⇔ M martensitic transformation and exhibit a pseudoelastic mechanical behaviour over a stress<br/>plateau. During the tensile test, the presence of holes induces not only inhomogeneous strains but also out-of-plane displacements which can be considered as local bending. An experimental device, made of<br/>two massive pieces of glass, is realized to avoid those out-of-plane displacements and allow the optical measurements.<br/>This study discusses the different aspects of conception and validation of the experimental device and also a tensile test of a NiTi holey plate with optical measurement.<br/>
