Abstract
<p>We report the fabrication of rib waveguides in As-S(-Se) glasses by hot embossing. Optical losses between 0.24dB/cm in As<sub>24</sub>S<sub>38</sub>Se<sub>38</sub> and 0.5dB/cm in As<sub>s</sub>S<sub>3</sub> were obtained with nonlinear parameters as high as ≈9W<sup>-1</sup>m<sup>-1</sup>.</p>
