Damage monitoring of a polymer-matrix composite (PMC) subjected to 4-point bending tests using an embedded piezoceramic transducer
Abstract
Le présent travail se concentre sur la surveillance d'un matériau CMO en fibres de verre renforçant une matrice polyester, incorporant un capteur piézocéramique PZT de faible épaisseur, au cours des essais en flexion 4-points (monotone, charge/décharge et incrémentale jusqu’à la rupture) équipés d'une multi-instrumentation CND externe composée de la corrélation d'image numérique (CIN) sur l'épaisseur de l'échantillon et de l’EA. Ce système multi-instrumenté a été utilisé pour comprendre le signal de la capacité électrique in-situ provenant du capteur PZT en le comparant aux différentes signatures CND, de volume (EA) et de surface (CIN) ex-situ, et ainsi en déduire des informations sur les scénarios de l’endommagement.
