Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing a semifinished product for fiber-reinforced composite materials, in which a carrier material (1) made of fiber-reinforcing material is selectively coated with pulverulent binder material (3) by means of an electrostatically charged image drum (2) according to the electrophotography type. The pulverulent binder material is temporarily softened by heating and adheres to the fiber-reinforcing material after cooling. The invention further relates to a device for carrying out the method for selective binder application.
