Multiplexed Electrochemical Platform for sepsis Diagnostics
Abstract
A multiplexed electrochemical platform for sepsis diagnostics comprising of procalcitonin (PCT), syndecan-1 and pathogen associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) sensors is presented on a single gold chip covered with proprietary nanocomposite coating. Due to excellent antifouling properties of the coating, all three sensors exhibit specific response in the clinically significant range with minimal cross reactivity when used in parallel with the same sample, in this case 50% diluted whole blood.
