Abstract

<b>Resumo:</b> Sumarizam-se os programas de prospecção e ensaios realizados durante os estudos geológico-geotécnicos para as fundações dos vários edifícios construídos no <i>Campus</i> da FCT-UNL. São referidos tipos e quantidades de trabalhos, explicando-se a metodologia faseada e sequencial seguida e que levou a diminuir custos, mantendo a fiabilidade da informação pretendida. As quantidades de trabalhos são discutidas no âmbito daquela metodologia. Por fim, anotam-se alguns aspectos técnicos suscitados pelos estudos bem como a exigência de acompanhamento e fiscalização dos trabalhos na fase de prospecção e ensaios e na fase de construção.<br/><br/><b>Abstract: </b>The paper lists the exploration and testing programas carried out for the geological and geotechnical sutides for the foundations of the several buildings constructed inf the<i> Campus </i>of the FCT-UNL. The types and the quantities of worksare referred to and the methodology used, which involved different phases and a programmed sequence that enabled to cut costs and maintain there liability of the searched information is explained. The quantities of works are discussed on the basis of that methodology. At the end some technical aspects derived from the work as well as the need for technical follow-up both during the site investigations and the construction are highlighted.
