Preparación del compuesto Beta/MCM-41: un material con una isoterma de adsorción-desorción poco convencional
Abstract
The preparation of a micro/mesoporous Beta/MCM-41 material by recrystallization of Beta zeolite in an alkaline medium is reported. The material is characterized by X-Ray Powder Diffraction (XRPD), Fourier Transformed Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and nitrogen physisorption. XRPD results corroborate the presence of the Beta zeolite and the MCM-41 material. Nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherm showed a non-conventional behavior suggesting the presence of a structured and hierarchical system in which the micro- and mesoporous phase coexist.
