Calibration procedure for testing machines to extend the traceability chain from static to continuous forces which can be used for forces in the range of 1 N to 1 MN
Abstract
The aim of this work was to develop a calibration procedure to cover the production of static and continuousforces by industrial machines, used for both materials testing and in the larger scale testing of components, products, and structures – this second application incorporated the use of multiple force sensors, reversalof loading direction, and novel transducer design. The ComTraForce project 18SIB08 has received funding from the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR) as well as the European Association of National Metrology Institutes (Euramet).
