The Materials Map is an open tool for improving networking and interdisciplinary exchange within materials research. It enables cross-database search for cooperation and network partners and discovering of the research landscape.

The dashboard provides detailed information about the selected scientist, e.g. publications. The dashboard can be filtered and shows the relationship to co-authors in different diagrams. In addition, a link is provided to find contact information.

The Materials Map is still under development. In its current state, it is only based on one single data source and, thus, incomplete and contains duplicates. We are working on incorporating new open data sources like ORCID to improve the quality and the timeliness of our data. We will update Materials Map as soon as possible and kindly ask for your patience.

Abstract

The article deals with the properties of coated electrodes for metal welding produced by UAB Anykščių varis. The newly manufactured electrodes use a standard base putty with a different ferrobor concentration. The main highlights of this work are the search and analysis of literature sources to elucidate the effect of feroboron concentration on the welding process, the performance of the experimental study and analysis of the obtained results to determine the influence of iron boride on the hardness and abrasion resistance of welded metal. Boro įtakos glaistytaisiais elektrodais apvirintų sluoksnių savybėms tyrimas Santrauka Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos UAB „Anykščių varis“ pagamintų glaistytųjų elektrodų, skirtų metalui apvirinti, savybės. Naujai pagamintuose elektroduose naudojamas standartinis bazinis glaistas su skirtinga feroboro koncentracija. Pagrindiniai šio darbo akcentai yra literatūros šaltinių paieška ir analizė siekiant išsiaiškinti feroboro koncentracijos poveikį apvirinimo procesui, paties eksperimentinio tyrimo atlikimas ir gautų rezultatų analizavimas, siekiant nustatyti geležies borido įtaką prilydyto metalo cheminėms savybėms, kietumui, atsparumui dilimui. Išnagrinėjus teorinius ir praktinius tyrimo aspektus, pateikiamos išvados ir pasiūlymai. Reikšminiai žodžiai: suvirinimas, apvirinimas, feroboras, kietumas.
