Materials Map under construction

The Materials Map is still under development. In its current state, it is only based on one single data source and, thus, incomplete and contains duplicates. We are working on incorporating new open data sources like ORCID to improve the quality and the timeliness of our data. We will update Materials Map as soon as possible and kindly ask for your patience.

The Precipitation Hardening of Continuous Ingots of AlSi2Mn and AlCu4MgSi Alloys

  • Wróbel, Tomasz
Abstract

Archives of Foundry Engineering continues the publishing activitystarted by Foundry Commission of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) inKatowice in 1978. The initiator of it was the first Chairman ProfessorDr Eng. Wacław Sakwa – Corresponding Member of PAN, Honorary Doctor ofCzestochowa University of Technology and Silesian University ofTechnology. This periodical first name was „Solidification of Metals andAlloys” , and made possible to publish the results of works achieved inthe field of the Basic Problems Research Cooperation. The subject ofpublications was related to the title of the periodical and concernedwidely understand problems of metals and alloys crystallization in acasting mold. In 1978-2000 the 44 issues have been published. Since 2001the Foundry Commission has had patronage of the annually published“Archives of Foundry” and since 2007 quarterly published “Archives ofFoundry Engineering”. Thematic scope includes scientific issues offoundry industry:Theoretical Aspects of Casting Processes,Innovative Foundry Technologies and Materials,Foundry Processes Computer Aiding,Mechanization, Automation and Robotics in Foundry,Transport Systems in Foundry,Castings Quality Management,Environmental Protection.
