Erprobung anwendungsadaptierter CVD-Diamantschichten beim Stanzen
Abstract
<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>CVD-Diamantschichten werden aktuell bei der spanenden Bearbeitung herausfordernder Werkstoffe eingesetzt und führen zu einer deutlichen Erhöhung der Standzeiten. Insbesondere nanokristalline Diamantschichten ermöglichen geringe Rauheiten bei gleichzeitig höchsten Härten. In der vorliegenden Studie wurden diese Schichten erstmals auf Hartmetall-Schneidstempel für das Stanzen von federharten Bändern appliziert und ihr Einfluss auf den Verschleiß untersucht. Untersuchungen mit Hubzahlen von bis zu 100.000 haben für Schichtdicken im Bereich von 8 μm sehr gute Ergebnisse gezeigt. Derartige Nano-Diamantschichten besitzen folglich großes Potenzial zur Reduzierung des Verschleißes von Hartmetallstempeln in Stanzprozessen.</jats:p>
