Star polymers
Abstract

The structural arrest and the dynamics in star polymer solutions in the presence of attractive forces between microparticles were studied. The effect of the interplay between attractive interactions of different range and ultrasoft core repulsion, on the dynamics and on the occurrence of the ideal glass transition line was also investigated. In the two cases considered, some significant differences with respect to the purely repulsive pair interaction were also observed. The interplay between equilibrium and nonequilibrium phase behavior was also discussed.
