Static and dynamic scattering from ternary polymer blends
Abstract

Small angle neutron scattering (SANS) and dynamic light scattering (DLS) measurements on ternary polymer blends which exhibits bicontinuous microemulsion phase are presented. The ternary polmer blends, comprising of two homopolymers and the corresponding diblock copolymer are examined. The comparision of SANS and DLS measurement shows the dynamic signature of poorly structured to good microemulsion transition. This transition appears to be the clearest demarcation of the onset bicontinous microemulsion behavior.
