Abstract
<jats:p>Undoped Ba(Zr<jats:sub>0.9</jats:sub>Ti<jats:sub>0.1</jats:sub>)O<jats:sub>3</jats:sub> and rare-earth-doped (Ba<jats:sub>1−<jats:italic>x</jats:italic></jats:sub>RE<jats:sub>2<jats:italic>x</jats:italic>/3</jats:sub>)(Zr<jats:sub>0.9</jats:sub>Ti<jats:sub>0.1</jats:sub>)O<jats:sub>3</jats:sub> (RE<jats:sup>3+</jats:sup> = La<jats:sup>3+</jats:sup>, Sm<jats:sup>3+</jats:sup>) perovskite compounds were synthesized by the conventional solid-state reaction route.</jats:p>
