A new complex compound of chromium(III) with 5-aminopyridine-2-carboxylate anions – Structure, physicochemical and catalytic properties
Abstract
This publication presents a new chromium(III) complex with 5-aminopyridine-2-carboxylate anions. Thetitle compound was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, potentiometric and conductometric titrations. The oligomerization reaction of the 2-chloro-2-propen-1-ol alcohol was carriedout using the title complex as a catalyst for the reaction. The resulting product was examined byMALDI-TOF MS and infrared spectroscopy. The catalytic activity of the complex in the oligomerizationreaction of 2-chloro-2-propen-1-ol was determined.
