Shear Buckling Delamination in Fiber/Metal Laminates
Abstract
Description: In this project, the interaction of shear buckling and delamination growth of fiber metal laminates with the application of finite element method is examined. In this research, Glare is selected as an important member of fiber metal laminate and investigated with effects of layout, the number of layers, type of glare, the position and geometry of delamination and boundary conditions of laminate under in-plane shear loading condition on buckling load. Continuously, in glare3-3/2, effects of metal layer thickness, geometry and position of delamination in thickness direction on delamination growth under post-buckling analysis with in-plane shear loading condition have been studied and the obtained results are compared.
